News from the League AGM

The Vodkat League AGM took place in Blackpool on Saturday 19 June and it was an action packed meeting.

The league said a formal goodbye to league champions  Newcastle Town who take their place in the Evo Stik league and welcomed Rossendale United back having been relegated into the Premier Division.

Abbey Hey and Ashton Athletic's relegation to the First Division was confirmed as was the promotion of Stone Dominoes and Barnoldswick Town to the Premier Division.

The league welcomes three new clubs, AFC Darwen, Runcorn Town and West Didsbury & Chorlton who will play in the First Division.

West Didsbury & Chorlton have been accepted on the condition they receive planning permission for floodlights. If permission is granted, work will commence on the installation of the lights once the new season has started.

A warm welcome to Rossendale United, AFC Darwen, Runcorn Town and West Didsbury & Chorlton. Details on each club can now be found on the club pages.
