In response to numerous requests and enquiries that have been received, League Fixtures Secretary John Reid can report that the season's fixtures for the Vodkat League will not be available in full until towards the end of July.
It is appreciated that this is later than usual, but is due largely to the fixtures release date given by the Evo Stick League, who are kicking off this season on August 21st and therefore are not publishing their fixtures until July 14th, despite a request for information from our League Secretary, John Deal. In comparison, the Blue Square fixtures were released on Thursday July 1st.
John Reid explained: "I have received numerous requests for the release date of the fixtures, but the matter is out of my hands. I am receiving little help from the Evo Stick League, and I also have leagues below our level waiting for my fixtures, so they can organise theirs.
"I think it is about time the FA took this matter in hand and produced a weekly programme for release of fixtures working from the Football League down. After all, the leagues above us are all having their fixtures produced by computer, so why the delay?
"In the meantime, I hope to produce the fixtures for August towards the end of this week, so that clubs can start to organise themselves, and then produce the full fixture list as soon as possible later on in July".
