Former Kirkham & Wesham FC Press Officer Howard Jones, who edited Stockport County's match programme for 12 seasons in the 70s and 80s, has launched his own match programme service designed to help all levels of Non-League clubs.
In his time at Edgeley Park, Howard oversaw issues for games against European Champions Liverpool and Arsenal, and more recently was responsible for producing the programmes during Kirkham & Wesham's memorable first season in the Vodkat League, which culminated in their FA Vase triumph at Wembley.
He has also produced issues for Blackpool Mechanics and Squires Gate in the past, and is currently involved in the world of Speedway Racing producing weekly race magazines for clubs up and down the country.
Howard's service will take the strain out of producing match programmes for clubs as he explained:
"Many times have l attended a non-league game only to be met with the excuse, 'We didn't have time, or the editor is away.'"
"There really is no excuse now, and the service being offered can help clubs make money and give a top class image. That's how important a match programme really is.
"These days fans demand that, and I can help any club struggling to produce a match programme on a regular basis."
