At the League Management Committee meeting on Wednesday, it was confirmed that Nelson FC have resigned from the League and that a number of actions will now be taken as a result.

Ashton Athletic are reinstated into the Premier Division. They will take over Nelson's fixtures.

The Cup draws:

League Challenge Cup: Nelson withdrawn, opponents AFC Darwen or Ashton Town receive a bye in the Second Round.

First Division Trophy: Ashton Athletic withdrawn, opponents Chadderton or Wigan Robin Park receive a bye in the Second Round.

FA Cup & Vase:

Nelson's opponents receive a walkover into the next round - Atherton LR in the FA Cup, and Abbey Hey in the FA Vase.
