2011 is going to be a very special year for Cheadle Town Football Club, as they will celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the club's formation as Grasmere Rovers in 1961.

To mark the occasion the club is planning several exciting events.

The first one is a Celebration Dinner, which will be held at the Ramada Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester on Friday 4^th February.

The Master of Ceremonies will be a special friend who has played for the club and toured the World with them, Fred Eyre. Fred is one of the best After Dinner Speakers on the circuit. A very special Guest of Honour will also attend and there will be one or two celebrities dotted around the room during the evening.

There will be a 3-course Dinner and the reception will be at 6.00pm for a 7.30pm start. This is going to be a very special night for Cheadle Town Football Club. The evening will be filmed and DVDs available for purchase after the event. Also, a very special DVD is being made of the club's 50 year history with film of overseas tours and many other surprise features.
